Choosing a Stream Flashlight

Searching for a new Stream flashlight can be an over whelming experience, with all the varieties and models they have to choose. However, they all come with the same quality durability and innovation that every stream flashlight promises. There are some things that you should look for when you are choosing the best flashlight for the job.
1. Number of LEDs: The first thing to focus on is the number of LEDs in the flashlight. If, the flashlight has too small a number of LEDs it may not provide the kind of light you are searching. If, the flashlight has too high a number then it can significantly reduce battery power in the flashlight. The perfect number for most LED flashlights is between 10-15 LED bulbs. This gives you ample light and great battery run-time.
2. Durability: Not all flashlights are made the same. Even Stream know this so finding a flashlight that corresponds to the job you are during will ensure you get a long lasting light. So, search for a flashlight that will correspond to the job you want. If, the job is industrial you may want to get a heavy metal case flashlight for durability. If, the flashlight is for camping or an emergency than get one that has a tough plastic or polyurethane cover.
3. Focused: Getting a flashlight that has a decent brightness is good. However, you also want to take into consideration the beam of the flashlight. Having a flashlight that scatters light will not provide you the light where you need it. So, search for a flashlight that has a tight, solid beam of light that is focused in one area.
4. Switch: when searching for a flashlight you want to make sure the switch is in a comfortable location. So deciding if you want the switch on the side, front or back of the flashlight will determine the flashlight style you want. They can be rubber switches, metal switches, or a turn switch that is on the front or back.
5. Battery: Batteries are also very important when it comes to flashlights. There is a couple of different kinds that you can choose from when picking out your flashlight.
A. Dry Batteries: dry batteries in stream flashlights give you the best light possible for the longest period of time. They will provide a steady beam of light for more hours than a rechargeable flashlight battery. However, the downside is when you run out of flashlight juice then you will need to purchase more. Having to replace the dry cell batteries will have an added expense making the life of the flashlight more expensive.
B. Rechargeable Batteries; Rechargeable batteries are also a great choice. Not only for money saving a portion of it but also for the ability to be recharged in a number of ways. They can be recharged using the built In charger so it is ready when you need it, or they can use attachments for a car plug or even solar power when you are in an emergency. The downside is that they will provide you a strong beam of light, but it will be for a shorter period of time then with the dry cell batteries.
